EL1 Procurement Specialist – Long-Term Labour Hire

The Organisation:
Medium sized, centrally located government department.

The Role:
EL1 role working within a branch, operating as a procurement specialist. You’ll be the go-to person for all procurement related matters. The branch runs a number of projects and you’ll support them through the procurement lifecycle.
You’ll provide advice regarding CPRs, best practice, and also be responsible for execution of procurement matters.

As a part of your role you’ll have regular reporting requirements concerning budget, expenditure, and other EOM reports.

The area undertakes a range of procurement activities from day-to-day simple matters, through to high risk, high value, complex matters.

The role will be available for an initial period of 12 months as a labour hire contract, with the potential to extend for 2 additional periods of 12 months.

Your Skills and Experience:
You must be cleared at the NV2 level to be eligible for this role. You must also hold the Cert IV in procurement and contracting, and have demonstrated experience of working at the EL1 level or equivalent in a procurement role.

Communication skills are key to this role as you will liaise across the entire Branch.
