The Role:
This is an APS5/6 finance business partner role which is available for an immediate start and is available via an s26 permanent transfer or 12 months non-ongoing contract. Your duties will include:
- Financial and logistical support for NPPs and Cabinet Submission process
- Contract management advice
- Grants management advice
- General procurement advice
The role has multiple stakeholders which will see you quickly develop an internal brand within the business area. You’ll directly engage with EL2s, SES1 and 2s and will need to be confident in your ability to do this.
They are looking for someone who can engage broadly with clients, and have the technical ability to confidently collate, analyse and deliver financial and corporate advice. The area is fast moving and has developed a supportive culture and environment.
The role is available via an s26 permanent transfer or a 12 months non-ongoing contract.
Your Skills and Experience:
You are an experienced professional with federal government accounting experience at the APS5/6 level or equivalent. Exposure to broad finance roles such as business partnering is highly regarded. They are also keen to meet with people that have NPP or external budget experience and understand the Cabinet Submission Process.
Stakeholder engagement is one of your strengths and something that you thrive on. You’re comfortable and familiar with reviewing and assessing high risk, and high value procurements.
You must be an Australian Citizen with an NV1 clearance or higher to be able to start in this role.
