  • 3-to-6-month contract + extension + potential for permanency

The Department:
This group enhances public health by advancing research, offering support, and promoting early detection of a critical illness to improve outcomes and survival.
  
  
The Role:
Joining a small Government agency, you will work closely with several teams on shared initiatives including the design team, policy teams and communication representatives.
  
With a busy calendar of upcoming announcements, events and projects; you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:
  • Website content
  • Social media management including writing copy, monitoring and scheduling content
  • Media monitoring with support from the media manager
  • Supporting finance and budget process
  • Graphic design
Your Skills and Experience:
Our ideal candidate for this position is someone who has transitioned into a communications career, with a background in graphic design (or strong demonstrated design skills).
  
To be considered for this position you will have experience across in a communications position, ideally in a Government setting. Candidates with experience in, and a passion for, the health-sector are encouraged to apply.
