The Department:

Medium sized APS agency with a specialised workforce across Australia. Corporate office (and this role) is based in Canberra ideally.


This APS6 HR Data Analyst role is the reporting expert that works alongside their workforce planning team, leading the extraction and analysis of workforce data for inclusion in a range of people and departmental monthly and ad-hoc reports.  

The Ideal Person:

You must have experience in the extraction and analysis of workforce data, preferably using Aurion and PowerBI.

You will also be an:
  • Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain a baseline security clearance
  • Passionate and interested in data analysis and continuing development in this area
  • Keen to integrate easily into this busy team working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues to support aligning projects and outcomes
  • Enjoy stakeholder engagement and have a willingness to consult with colleagues and staff to better understand their needs for relevant and meaningful data and analysis (which, as the expert, you will be able to provide)!
This client may be able to consider a highly experienced APS5 employee for this role for acting opportunity. 

As a vacant role they could offer an ongoing s26 transfer into the role.
