Leading consulting business with its roots in Canberra that has a broad portfolio of clients across government and the private sector. They promote a client focused approach and have developed into a multi-million-dollar business.
The Role:
As the Financial Controller you will have ultimate control of all financial aspects of the business. From the transactional day-to-day matters, through to working with the owner to analyse business performance.
You will also be responsible for:
- Financial reporting,
- Taxation (BAS & PAYG),
- Cashflow reporting,
- Invoicing & debtor management,
- Payroll,
- Budgeting
- And all other aspects of financial management.
This is a 360-degree role. Your day will see you going between the technical delivery, to the operational management of banking, invoicing, payroll etc.
This permanent role is centrally located and also offers free parking. The business has an impressive growth trajectory and needs a financial professional that can continue to grow with the business.
The salary on offer is up to $120k + Super.
Your Skills and Experience:
You are an experienced financial professional with exposure across private sector businesses. You are hands on in nature and not precious concerning the processing of the transactional components of finance. You also have strong technical skills with confidence in your ability to produce financial statements and you can guide the owner of the business on financial matters.
You must have strong excel skills (vlookups, pivots, index etc). Completion of professional qualifications (CA/CPA) will provide evidence of your technical accounting skills.
You must be at least a Permanent Resident of Australia with experience gained from the local Australian market.
