Federal government central agency, head office in Canberra but can also consider someone to be based in their smaller Brisbane location (alongside 2 other rehab case managers in that location).
The role
Working with a federal government central agency this role is managing rehabilitation and return to work/early intervention case management for this APS agency.
Working as part of a broader wellbeing and case management team you will support managers and staff in compensable and non-compensable injury management cases.
They can offer an initial 6-12 month non-ongoing contract with potential for extension. They may also be able to consider s26 transfer for ongoing APS employees.
Location: Canberra or Brisbane.
Your skills and experience
Working in a dynamic environment you will be able to add value across the rehab space, having extensive experience in case management and WHS and well-being.
Understanding of the SRC Act and relevant WHS legislation applicable to the APS and federal government environment is required.
Experience in a senior rehabilitation case management role.
