The Company:
This APS agency provides a unique and different perspective to working in the APS, with interesting and highly specialised workforce.  

Located centrally in Canberra with FREE PARKING, this is an opportunity you need to think about!

The role:
12-month fixed project period, with potential for extension, and they can consider engagement via a non-ongoing contract or temporary s26 transfer.  At the APS6 level this role offers a salary in the $97K-$112K plus super range.
There are a range of current and upcoming projects, and this role is responsible for the design and development of enterprise-wide HR initiatives, using a variety of evidence, data and stakeholder consultation to design tailored solution that meet broader agency strategic direction.

This role is focus on stakeholder engagement, design and implementation of the projects as well as the development of briefing papers and submissions to executives for buy in on the proposed initiative – all using carefully analysed data and evidence to support these decisions.

The person:
The best person for this role will have:
  • Experience designing and implementing HR projects and initiatives
  • Ability to analyse and use data and evidence for decision making processes
  • Experience writing evidence based executive submissions for approval
  • A creative and innovative mindset to design solutions to workforce challenges
  • Baseline clearance and Australian Citizenship required for this specific role
