The Organisation:

The Role:
With EOFY just around the corner, our client is keen to get someone on-board at the APS6 level as a financial accountant as soon as possible.

You will be working on the BAU of the monthly financial reporting cycle and also supporting the financial statements end of year process including interactions with the ANAO. You will be supported by a technical and capable team.

They are keen to engage you via an 8 months non-ongoing. Baseline security clearances are necessary for this department.

Your Skills and Experience:
You are an Australian Citizen with previous Federal/local Government financial accounting experience. You have gained exposure to the Government monthly financial reporting process. Your communication skills are excellent, and you are able to develop relationships within a finance team and the wider business.
At the APS6 level you have had some exposure to supporting the EL1 with the technical EOM/EOFY delivery.

It is likely that you will be fully qualified (CA/CPA) but this is not mandatory. Baseline security clearance and Australian Citizenship is necessary for this role.
