The Role:
This APS6 finance business partner role is working closely with the IT and other Business Units, by reviewing their accounts and providing required reporting and assistance.
The role will be working to an experienced EL1 that has been working in the area for a couple of years. They will be able to provide strong training and support as you grow into the role. Finance business partners in this area provide technical end of month support as well as budgeting, forecasting and analysis, on scheduled and ad hoc basis.
The role is vacant and has ASL available to fill it. The client is happy to consider candidates via an S26 transfer, non-ongoing contract or labour hire basis. The role is available for an immediate start.
The role will see you liaising extensively across the corporate area and is a great opportunity to build a positive personal brand amongst the leadership of the department.
Your Skills and Experience:
You have worked in a management accounting or finance business partner role at the APS6 or equivalent level previously. You must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to develop business relationships. They are open to considering candidates that have not worked in the federal government previously.
You must also be able demonstrate experience of coordinating and delivering monthly management reporting packs and providing analysis and advice related to this.
You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role - a baseline security clearance is preferable but not mandatory.
