APS5/6 Procurement Officers

• Multiple APS5/6 Procurement roles available across Federal Government agenc
• Must hold a current Baseline security clearance and have APS experience
• Canberra-based opportunities

We are currently seeking experienced Procurement Officers at the APS5 and APS6 levels for a number of labour hire opportunities within the Australian Public Service. These positions are based in Canberra and offer the chance to support critical government procurement activities across a variety of departments.

Key Requirements:

• Current Baseline security clearance (mandatory)
• Demonstrated experience in government procurement and contract management
• Sound knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and relevant legislation
• Experience in developing and managing RFQs, RFTs, contracts, and procurement documentation
• Ability to provide procurement advice and ensure compliance across all stages of the procurement lifecycle
• Strong attention to detail, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
• Previous experience working in the Australian Public Service

Duties Include:

• Supporting procurement planning and sourcing activities
• Drafting and reviewing procurement and contract documentation
• Providing advice to internal stakeholders on procurement strategy and compliance
• Managing supplier relationships and performance monitoring
• Contributing to reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives
